Taylor-Gebler

Taylor-Gebler are husband and wife artists. Together they have been creating beautiful bronze sculptures since the 1980s. In 1994 they moved into creating bronzes featuring ice skaters, and it is in that genre that they created their legacy. Their pieces are commissioned by the best in the world—Olympic medalist Kristi Yamaguchi is a client—they are highly refined, meticulously sculpted, and created in very limited editions. Featured in Shanin Renee Art Gallery is En Pointe 7/15 (1993), one of their rare pieces created prior to moving into their ice skating genre. 

Perfectly balanced on one toe at a double barre and in pink patina, it's the 360-degree turning element to this piece sets it above the rest.
